About Mix Mix Studios
Mix Mix Studios was born from a shared foundation and two distinct creative paths.
We’re two brothers with different styles, shaped by the same early exposure: growing up in a model-making studio run by our father, who’s been in the craft for over 30 years. Architectural scale models, exhibit builds, gallery pieces, private residences, future developments — these weren’t abstract ideas to us, they were the environment we grew up in.
As we each set out to explore our own creative directions, we eventually found ourselves back where it all began. Along the way, we continued helping our father on projects, absorbing the discipline, precision, and patience that high-level model making demands. But we also brought back what we had gathered elsewhere — new perspectives, tools, and ways of thinking shaped by backgrounds in graphic design, architecture, and contemporary making.
What looks like a full circle is really a convergence.
Mix Mix Studios is a house built on blending: trades, techniques, and points of view. We take what we learned from traditional craftsmanship and combine it with modern processes and experimental approaches to bring ideas into physical form. Whether it’s a conceptual model, an exhibit piece, or a fully realized build, we approach each project as a study in material, scale, and intention.
Mix Mix exists as its own branch — connected to the roots of our father’s still-thriving business, but growing in a direction that’s distinctly ours. Our work carries a youthful energy and curiosity, grounded by a deep respect for craft and quality. We’re hands-on, detail-driven, and committed to making things that feel considered, precise, and alive.
At its core, Mix Mix Studios is about translating ideas into objects — thoughtfully, skillfully, and with a mix of everything that brought us here.
